The ATOMIUM protective layer restores the dimensions and geometry of worn parts, optimizes clearances between friction surfaces, and retains a thicker oil film. All this reduces friction losses by 15–20% and, consequently, improves engine performance in the following ways:

• Increased power – optimized clearances in the cylinder-piston assembly increase compression and improve combustion of the air-fuel mixture, resulting in more power.
• Reduced vibration and noise – cleaning restores the normal mass of parts, while optimized clearances and a thicker oil film reduce unwanted engine vibration and noise.

The «MOTOTEC 2» tribotechnical compound works in two ways: it cleans friction surfaces and activates the process by which metal microparticles in the engine oil bond to them. These particles form a protective layer that:

• is stronger than the metal surface of the part itself;
• retains a thicker oil film;

The protective layer continues to form until temperature, pressure, vibration and other parameters reach optimal levels, at which point the process stops automatically.

The compound acts on all friction surfaces, both in the cylinder-piston assembly and in the crank mechanism.
